Little Ink Pot Offers Free Plug-Ins

Currently, Little Ink Pot is offering three free Windows-compatible plug-ins: XPose, Thredgeholder, and Chalkaholic. Created with busy digital image editors in mind, the plug-ins can be easily accessed. Onsite instructions say you need only unzip the downloaded files into a Plug-ins folder, something like "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop\Plugins," and then open them. They÷’re ready to use.

Xpose. Whether you want to balance under-exposed sunsets or lift shadows from high contrast images, or enrich washed out wedding photos, you÷’ll find Xpose, an exposure adjustment plug-in, a quick and easy way to go. The plug-in, according to Little Ink Pot, was written to offer quick adjustment of highlights and shadows with a rapid preview feedback and a simple, intuitive interface. Its size: 317 Kb.

In addition to XPose, you÷’ll find Thredgeholder and Chalkaholic. Thredgeholder provides simple but highly effective edge detection. The download is 365 Kb large. The Chalkaholic plug-in, 414 Kb in size, renders chalk and charcoal type effects, and is also available in an inexpensive Pro version for those who want even more flexibility and control.
