Photography is a substantial part of web design, I think there’s no arguing about that. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find really good stock photos these days, especially free ones.
I love free resources and deals (obviously), so I’m in constant search of all freebies related to web design. Today I’m gonna share the most recent collection of mine – 10 free image stocks with high quality photos.
I selected these 10 because they are not your typical image stocks with crappy photos of men in suits and women with apple devices, there are really great high quality photos at these stocks. The other criterion was that there are really awesome Christmas photos for free at each of these websites below. It is the holiday season after all, so why not decorate your online projects with some Christmas cheer?

It’s safe to say that this one is the ultimate choice when it comes to quality free pictures – this resource is an aggregator of free photos from various places. The pictures are divided into categories and subcategories. Navigation is quite easy, plus there’s always the search option.

This is not a free stock per se but there is an awesome freebies collection here. These guys make it the point to feature only the most “real life” photos that look natural and not contrived at all.

This gallery of free pictures is divided by categories. Among the most popular ones are Urban, Architecture, Nature, People etc.
